Vintage slide-action. Produced 1884-1904. Small frame. (Second model Colt Lighting) The first rimfire rifle made by Colt. This rifle was manufactured in 1902. Blued finish, case-hardened hammer, and walnut stock. 24" octagonal barrel. Dovetail blade/bead front sight, and fixed notch rear sight. Walnut stock with checkered black hard rubber buttplate, with Rampant Colt. Colt markings are crisp, readable. 15 Rd tube magazine. 'Rampant Colt' on left receiver, Buttstock is good, with minor dings/dents, there is a small chip by the upper right tang. Fore grip appears to be a newer replacement. Original blue finish is about 60%, handling/edge wear, thinning in some places. Bore appears a little rough, but rifling is present. NRA Condition-Very Good. C&R Firearm
