Lot 232 Mauser P.08 Luger 9mm SN: 6912

WWII era German military toggle locked recoil operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Luger, dated 1941. No import marks observed. Features blued finish, 4" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'V' front sight with witness-marks, 'v' notched rear sight, smooth crescent trigger, knurled charging knobs on the rear toggle link, manual safety on the left side of the frame, knurled push button magazine release, steel frame with lanyard loop & stock lug, and two-piece finely checkered wood grips. Most observed numbers match, (937) except the frame, numbered "6912", and the take-down lever "12". Bore is excellent/bright. . Retains 90% blue finish with edge losses & handling marks. Side plate has some minor pitting, and has a matte finish. Grips are very good. Markings include Waffenamts, eagle over 555, and "byf" on the toggle. Included magazine is blued, with aluminum plug numbered "3262g", marked with eagle over '37', good condition. Condition is NRA Very Good++ (reblued)
