34 ½” 56 caliber octagon barrel with unmarked percussion lock and single trigger. Brass furniture with pewter forend tip. Plain brass patch box with fine blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Made circa 1850. CONDITION, Good with strong bore with darkness in rifling grooves. Action operates properly. Rifle remains in a fine uncleaned attic condition with several period of use stock repairs.
