SERIAL NUMBER 2512 / 1763 BARREL 2 1/2" CALIBER 41 RIM FIRE MANUFACTURED 1866-1873. Produced by the Merrimack Arms Company Newburyport Mass. Octagon barrels marked "SOUTHERNER" on top flat with Merrimack Arms Company address on left barrel flat. #1763 is brass frame version with 2 piece varnished walnut grips. #2512 is scarce iron frame version with same markings. CONDITIONS. Good with both pistols operating properly. Both have very good bright bores. Grips are good with iron frame example being refinished. ANTIQUE
