^Lot 857 PRE 70 COLT MID RANGE .38 MODEL 1911 PISTOL

SERIAL 423-MR. BARREL 5". CALIBER .38 WADCUTTER. MADE IN 1960. Only 8000 made from 1960-1971. Slide is stamped National Match and features target rear sight, two tone blue finish, custom thumb wrist checkered walnut grips, red painted arched main spring, adjustable trigger, light weight hammer, properly stamped barrel & magazine. Comes with full checkered walnut grips. Grips safety is after market light weight. Condition. At least 95% blue with scattered handling marks. Unfortunately, the left side of the slide has scattered freckling from poor storage and should be restored. Bore is fine as are grips. C&R
