SERIAL 10645. BARREL 5". CALIBER .41 COLT MADE IN 1878, 2ND YEAR PRODUCTION. Rather scarce 5" early gun with acid etched panel, factory nickel finish, gutta percha grips with matching number on right panel,. Condition. Strong readable complete panel, brilliant fire blue on back of hammer, excellent grips beginning to smooth, 75% bright nickel with balance an evenly blended gray patina. Indexes and locks up both single and double action. Half cock works perfectly. Rifling is strong with some minor abrasion. Real nice early gun in popular caliber and barrel length. ANTIQUE
