SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 2 3/4" CALIBER .41 PERCUSSION MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1855-1865. German silver mounted with faux Damascus striping on barrel Lock marked "DERINGER PHILDEL" with barrel marked the same at silver banded breech. One piece birds head checkered walnut stock with rounded German silver trigger guard, wedge escutcheons and furniture. Classic small sized Deringer pocket pistol used extensively during the 1860's era. CONDITION, Very fine with barrel retaining much of the period lacquer finish, crisp markings with good bore and properly operating action. Stock is very good with some period bruising and a very small sliver missing below lock. ANTIQUE
