SERIAL NUMBER 39004 BARREL 6" CALIBER .38 AUTOMATIC MANUFACTURED 1916. Blue finished with checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant Colt monogram and marked "COLT' at top. Equipped with an unmarked 8 shot factory magazine, drift adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. Factory swivel at butt, ( not found on Sporting Model) . Serial numbered on left side of frame and last 3 digits found on underside of slide. A very popular pistol, long slide.. CONDITION, Excellent with over 90% blue finish remaining, Bore is frosted with strong rifling. Action operates properly. Grips are excellent with slight high point wear. C&R
