SERIAL NUMBER: 1102r. BARREL: 24". CALIBER: 8MM. MANUFACTURED: 1940. Made by Sauer & Sohn. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the stock. "eagle/37" Waffenamt's throughout. Faint Heer marks on the right side of the butt stock. Standard K98 sights. No sight hood or cleaning rod. Original military blued finish and oiled laminate wood stock. Flat metal butt plate. Includes attached period leather sling. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with brown patina forming in areas. Some signs of buffing in areas. Wood has scrapes, scratches and dents. Hand guard has surface cracks. Bore has a lightly frosted surface, with strong rifling retained. Mechanically fine. C&R
