SN JW 21070 Commemorative lever action repeating rifle celebrating American icon John Wayne, chambered in .32-40 Winchester. One of only 49,000 produced, circa 1981. Features a blued 18 1/2" barrel, full length tube magazine, two barrel bands with bushed nickel finish, dovetailed blade front sight, adjustable rear semi-buckhorn sight, smooth trigger with beveled edges, serrated hammer spur, saddle ring, large loop finger lever also acts as grip safety, brushed nickel finished receiver with roll-stamp engraved movie scenes & titles, checkered deluxe walnut forend with satin finish and semi-fancy figured straight grip shoulder stock with inlayed commemorative coin on the right side & metal carbine buttplate. Bore is pristine. Rifle retains approx 98% of its original finish showing minor handling marks.
