'The .38 Chiefs Special', Pinned Barrel, older all machined construction. Small frame double action snub nose revolver. Features a blued finish, 1-7/8" barrel with serrated ramp front sight, square notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted five-shot cylinder, serrated trigger, service hammer with knurled spur, three screw round butt J frame and two-piece checkered walnut Magna grips with silver S&W medallions. Bore and charge holes are very good. Retains 96% blue with slight edge wear, scratches. Grips are good with some wear. Action is smooth with tight lock-up. Comes with a Bianchi suede clip on holster.
