Highway Patrolman, "Pre Model 28", manufactured circa 1954. Blued six shot double action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. Features a pinned & tapered 4" flat rib barrel, shrouded extractor rod, fluted cylinder with beveled edges, ramped, serrated, front sight ,adjustable micrometer click rear sight, serrated trigger, and checkered wide hammer. Checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. Blue finish is about 97% with a couple of rubs, edge wear, and slight tracking on the cylinder.. Bore is excellent/bright and action is very smooth. Grips are excellent. Revolver has not seen much use. NRA Condition-Near Excellent. C&R Firearm.
