Cal. 30-06 S# 1482872 Bbl. 24". Barrel is marked behind front sight "SA" "flaming bomb" and "6-34". Ladder rear sight graduated to 2850 yards. Flat windage knob and dished elevation knob. Blade front sight. Issue front sight cover marked "R" and"US" w/ "flaming bomb". Replacement model 1903-A3 bolt marked "BF" & "46". Cocking piece, safety, and cut off marked "R". All milled furniture w/ fine checkered trap buttplate. Grooved trigger. Matching Walnut stock set w/ straight grip and two reinforcing bolts. Stock is marked in cut off recess "E" and under grip w/ encircled "P" proof but is otherwise unmarked. CONDITION: Stock finish is original w/ moderate wear , handling marks, and staining. Metal has an arsenal parkerized finish with dark protective coating. Shiny bore with lightly worn lands. (22-3467/RW) CURIO. $400-700.
