Lot 936a Shrapnel Damaged German WW2 M40 Helmet.
Single decal M40 Army Combat helmet. Full liner and chinstrap. Soldiers name on the inside skirt. About 50% of original paint. Remnants of Army decal remaining. The right side of helmet has 5 shallow dents where shrapnel hit, and a jagged hole hitting the vent hole. There is a tear in the liner corresponding with the hole. Tip of chinstrap broken, but overall good condition.
