This is a custom target rifle built by Ron Eklund on a U.S. Model of 1917 Remington receiver. 28" bull barrel, sights removed, drilled/tapped for optics. Lower barrel marked "Ron Eklund .308 N.M.". Has the original military markings on the receiver. Blued metal finish. Bench style stock with right-hand cheek piece with high comb. Black vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Bore is very good/bright. Action is smooth/tight. Stock is very good with minor scratches. Blue finish is about 95% with minor scratches, friction loss on bolt, and a couple of minor rust spots on the triggerguard/floorplate.
