The rifle shows an older sporterization with barrel reduced to 24 inches and turned to reduce the weight and also the forend shaped to commercial style Also the sights are added in same era. Brown patina with good wood and NRA good to very good overall. It was a 45.70 but bored out to smooth. The bore has been bored out to smooth and measures .510" at muzzle.
