3’ x 4’ embroidered on gold/yellow field, 185th was created July 1, 1959 and part of CA National Guard garrisoned in Modesto. Their motto “FULMEN JACIO” on ribbon held by eagle’s beak translates: “Hurl the Thunderbolt”. The flag of this regiment retains the old yellow color of the cavalry reflecting the heritage of armor units. CONDITION: good overall, staining, tear along eagle’s head to field.
