^Lot 2300 SIAMESE TYPE 46 MAUSER RIFLE

Cal. 8x52mm Siamese. NSN. 29" Bbl. Left of receiver has Tokyo Arsenal symbol. Top of Receiver has Siamese Chakra and Siamese characters Sliding dust cover is present. No cleaning rod present. Ladder rear sight with side graduations shaved indicating arsenal conversion to 8x52mm. Inverted V front sight. Pistol grip hardwood stock with finger grooves and a Siamese acceptance stamp on bottom of butt. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Siamese Type 45 bayonet and scabbard. Metal of bayonet was cleaned showing scattered light to moderate pitting and oxidation. Wood panels show a couple grain cracks, dings and dents. Scabbard retains much arsenal blue with some light oxidation, silvering and scratches. CONDITION: hardwood stock retains much of its arsenal rework oil finish with some minor dings and handling marks. Metal retains 95% arsenal rework blue with some dings on underside of bolt knob, operational wear and handling marks. Very good bore showing a couple spots of light frosting. (22-2508/MJC).
