Reproduction Colt U.S. Model 1847 Walker Percussion Revolver, #969, .44 cal., 9'' round-to-octagonal barrel marked ''Address Col. Saml Colt New-York US'' at top flat, has hinged loading lever below; round 6-shot cylinder is roll-decorated with the ''Rangers and Indians Fight'' scene and ''Model U.S.M.R./869/Colt's Patent'' within fancy ribands; open-top frame with central hammer, steel backstrap and brass trigger guard, one-piece oil-finished walnut grips. Condition is good to very good, having been artificially aged to appear old; barrel retains traces of blue, lever and hammer traces of case colors, cylinder is gunmetal gray, brass with medium patina, grips sound and unmarked.
