Reproduction Single-Shot Large Bore Percussion Plains Rifle, #447595, .54 cal., 29'' heavy octagonal barrel, double set triggers, large raised-bead front and adjustable rear sights, marked ''Cabela's Inc., Sidney, NE'' on top, ''Black Powder Only/Made in Italy,'' caliber and ser. no. on left angled flat; case hardened and floral-decorated lockplate; brass furniture includes trigger guard with finger-rest, pierced patchbox with hinged door opening to trap containing an extra brass nipple, crescent buttplate, two oval barrel key escutcheons, nosecap and two ferrules holding the brass-tipped hardwood ramrod; oil-finished walnut halfstock has raised aprons on either side of lock and a carved cheekpiece. Condition is as new, the barrel retaining 99%+ deep blue (tiny spots at right breech), lockplate and hammer with muted case colors, brass with light patina. Stock is smooth and unmarked.
