Antique Colt Open-Top Spurtrigger Pocket Revolver, #96930, .22 RF cal., 2.375'' round barrel without ejector marked with maker's name and address flanked by crosses in two lines on top, has pivoting wedge at bottom for removal; 7-shot round cylinder has what appear to be tiny ''4''s between bores on rear face; brass open-top frame is marked ''22 Cal'' at left, has central high-spur hammer, integral spurtrigger sheath and ''bird's head'' gripstraps, two-piece plain ivory grips. Mfg'd ca. 1871-77, originally with full nickel-plated finish. Condition is fine retaining 75% mostly bright nickel with scattered light nicks and losses. Grips are smooth showing several secure longitudinal age cracks but no losses, and fit well. Action is smooth; bore shows overall etching and defined rifling. Est.: $300-$450. (Antique)
