Luxembourg Contract FN49 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #5871, .30-06 cal., 23.2'' barrel, black painted finish, walnut stock, blade front sight with protecting ears and adjustable sliding aperture rear sight, with aluminum buttstock thong, brush cleaning kit, and brown leather sling. Marked on top of chamber ''AL'' for ''Armee Luxembourg'', and on right side receiver ''FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE-HERSTAL BELGIQUE''. Matching numbers. Crisp cartouche stamped on underside of forend. Condition overall is about fine with over 90% finish remaining on the metal, showing scratches and wear on the barrel, magazine, and buttplate. Wood is fine with an even color showing an area of marring on the right side of the forend. There are also a few other impressions and light handling marks. Action is smooth, bright bore is excellent. No visible import marks. Est.: $1,200-$1,500. (C&R)
