Russian Mosin-Nagant Model 91/30 bolt action rifle, 7.62 x 54R caliber, Serial #98997. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 29” barrel with a hooded front and military tangent style rear sights. Therifle retains a significant amount of original military finish with Russian proofs, star and dated 1936 on the front ring. The receiver has had a picatinny rail system added and the bolt handle has been modifiedfor scope mounting. The smooth wood stock has been nicely redone with a satin finish. Sling swivels and a canvas sling have been added during the period of use. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markingsare sharp. Est.: $175-$350. (C+R).
