U.S. Colt 1911 A-1 semi-automatic pistol, .45 ACP caliber, Serial #225758 on the frame. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 5” barrel. The pistol is arsenal rebuilt with a modern trigger installed. The pistol retains a significant amount of the parkerized military finish marked, “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” on the left side of the frame. The slide is marked, Serial #7790314. The checkered plastic grips are in verygood condition with sharp checkering and the lanyard ring is retained. The bore is bright and the action works well. The lot includes two military magazines, two commercial magazines, the original military trigger andgrip safety. Est.: $700-$1,400. (C+R/PPT).
