Lot 203 Winchester Metal Advertising Sign
A sign constructed in one piece of thick steel in the form of Winchester's iconic lever-action rifle. This example has a later painted logo "WINCHESTER ARMS AND AMMUNITION SINCE 1866". The sign itself is stamped in the metal "WINCHESTER / REPEATING ARMS Co. / NEW HAVEN CONN." on each side of the butt and "FOUNDED / 1866" stamped on the fore stock. A great addition to the Winchester collector's study. Measuring 41 1/2" long.
