^Lot 3559 CIVIL WAR GALLAGER CARBINE.

Cal. 52. S# 5653. This survivor is pitted overall. Has broken off hammer head & missing rear sight, otherwise complete & original. CONDITION: markings on lock are difficult to read due to pitting. Metal is overall mixed gray patina w/ pitting. Stock has set of initials carved on left side, saddle wear & numerous sm. dings, dents & erosion. Mechanically gun functions but cannot fire due to missing hammer face. This would be a good project for someone having a rear sight & can repair hammer. (01-17086/JS). ANTIQUE. $300-500.
