PERCUSSION PISTOLS. Cal. 56. NSN. 14 1/2" Overall. 9" Oct. twist bbls. marked on top "THEOPOLIS RICHARDS & CO LONDON". Silver pin front sights & fixed rear sights on engraved breech. Bbls. on bottom are Birmingham proofed. Locks & hammers case colored & engraved en suite. Fire blued trigger guards w/ spurred trigger bows. Mounted on figured European walnut w/ German silver nose cap, vacant oval thumb plates & oval keyway escutcheons. CONDITION: very good to fine overall. Striping better on 1 gun as is stronger traces of case colors on breech & locks. Both guns retain strong traces of fire blue on trigger guards. Stocks retain much of their original finish w/ scattered cosmetic blemishes. Mechanically crisp w/ bright shiny smooth bores. (01-17232/JS). ANTIQUE. $2,500-3,000.
