Cal. 36. S# 415 / 15095. If you ever wanted a Confederate primary handgun for low price, you can get a scarce early 1st Model Griswold bbl. S# 415 that has been married to Colt S# 15095 that displays & functions nicely. CONDITION: good to very good overall. Griswold bbl. is dark w/ pitting though decent lines & well discerned S# on right side. Latch appears replaced. The remainder of gun has a similar dark patina & matching 15095 S#'s (1863 production). The wedge is S# 5485. Mechanics need attention. Bore is pitted w/ discernable rifling. PROVENANCE: Herbert "Bert" Murch Collection. (01-16410/JS). ANTIQUE. $2,400-2,900.
