Pre-War Winchester Model 40 Semi-Auto Shotgun in 12GA (2 ¾”) with a 28” barrel choked full and “Winchester Proof Steel” marked barrel, S/N 8692. This shotgun remains in very good condition showing 75%-85% original bluedrifting mostly at the high points and edges of the frame. The wood is good plus with minor imperfections and original Winchester butt plate that is also very good plus. Good mechanically with bright bore. Built like atank and collector’s quality.
