Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, .31 caliber, Serial #246088. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 6” octagon barrel. The pistol has gone to dark patina with sharp edges and all matching visibleserial numbers. The pistol retains 50%-60% of the stage coach cylinder scene with brass straps, showing a nice taffy patina. The action functions but will not hold at half cock. The smooth wood grips are very niceretaining 80%-85% of the original varnish. The bore is rough, the action functions and the markings are sharp on this Civil War era pocket pistol circa 1863.
