Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle, .256 Winchester Magnum caliber, Serial #494714. The rifle is in fine overall condition as re-finished. The rifle has been re-barreled with a 24” round barrel in .256Win Mag and a full-length magazine. The barrel and tube retain nearly all of the gloss blue finish while the receiver is matte blue. A Redfield receiver sight has been added during the period of use. The smoothwood stock is in very good condition as re-finished. The bore is bright, the action crisp and the markings are legible.
