Heavy barrel half stock percussion plains rifle marked "B. Kitteridge & Co. Cincinnati Ohio, cast steel" with 1859 dated Lawrence marked Sharps type rear sight. Double set triggers, iron patch box and trigger guard.Measures 47" overall with a 31" heavy barrel of .58-.60 caliber rifled possibly mini ball. Triggers and lock works well. The stocks show a select burl wood grain. Good to very good condition overall. An interesting riflewith the name of a well-known Cincinnati dealer that agented Smiths, Colts and general arms during the Civil War and western expansion era. (Antique) Est.: $800-$1600
