L.C. Smith Field Grade S x S shotgun, 16 gauge, Serial #181574. The shotgun is in fine overall condition with 28” barrels with a full-length filed rib and ivory bead front sight. The barrels retain nearly all of thetoning blue finish with wear at the muzzles. The receiver shows significant muted case hardening with a tang mounted safety and double triggers. The finely checkered Walnut stock is in very good condition with sharpcheckering, splinter fore end and pistol grip. The butt stock ends with a plastic butt plate providing a 14” LOP to the front trigger. The bores are bright, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.:$400-$800. (C+R).
