Early to Mid-19th century Indo-Persian shield with good quality etching showing lettering around the rim and at center that may be prayers or names. Also figures of elephant god, royal peoples, and generally wellequated and complicated etched scenes. Measures 18 3/8" across the center with brass rim. Good condition with normal aging. No backing or hand grips present. A definite antique intended for use that is well forgedand nicely decorated. Est.: $300-$600
