Lot 157 20BD-3 NAVY LUGER
1906 Naval Luger (Arsenal altered “Down” position safety in 9mm with “W.D.” marking on the back strap for Wilhelmshaven dockyard, S/N 2909. This luger retains 95% plus arsenal finish with most of the “Straw” finish onsmall parts. There is some pitting on the left side of the barrel probably from contact with holster and moisture. Matching except unnumbered standard wood bottom mag. Good markings with sharp edges and very good grips showing minor bumps and slight wear from use. Clean interior with bright bore. An 8.5+ on a 1-10 scale. From local collectors estate and no import markings. (C&R/PPT) Est.: $3000-$6000
