1st Year Ruger Standard ''Red Eagle'' Semi-Automatic Pistol, #0413, .22 LR cal., 4.75'' tapered barrel, blue finish, checkered black plastic grips with Ruger ''red eagle'' medallion, Patridge type front sight, square-notched rear sight, and one magazine with silver colored base. Mfg'd 1949. Condition overall is very good retaining approx. 70% original blue finish. Backstrap has worn mostly bright with a little frosted reddish brown oxidation; left side of barrel with a few small specks of oxidation, both should clean. Factory lettering is clear. Grips are very nice for their age with a few mild flat spots and handling marks. Smooth action, bright bore rates excellent. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R)
