Remington Model 40-X Centerfire Bolt Action Rifle, #058812B, chambered in 6mm Rem. caliber. 27'' heavy stainless barrel is factory drilled and tapped for sights; blued receiver is also factory drilled and tapped. Synthetic black pistol-grip stock with cheekpiece, black rubber Remington recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Metal is excellent showing just light handling marks. Receiver retains approx. 99% blue finish with a few tiny impressions to the rear top that may be from previous scope base; factory lettering is clear. Left side of stock with a few spots of black finish loss, otherwise in fine condition, with intermittent light marks from handling. Smooth action functions properly; bore is excellent.
