Winchester Model 1897 Slide-Action Shotgun, #379287, 16 ga. 19-1/2'' plain barrel has a chamber that measures approx. 2-3/8'' and has no choke remaining after original barrel was shortened. Mfg'd 1907. Condition is good, with original buttstock shortened to 12'' length of pull and Pachmayr recoil pad added. Action functions satisfactorily, but chamber should be lengthened to 2-3/4'' to safely shoot modern ammo in cowboy action shooting. Est.: $150-$250. (C&R)
