Marlin Model 1894S Lever Action Rifle, #16060423, .41 Rem. mag. cal., 20'' round ''JM'' marked micro-groove barrel, blue finish, straight grip walnut stock and forend, checkered black plastic Marlin buttplate with white-spacer, crossbolt safety, hooded brass bead front sight on ramped base and sporting rear sight with elevator. Overall condition is good. Metal retains approx. 95% blue finish, left side of receiver with a small spot of pitting, barrel with noticeable scratches between the rear sight and receiver, lever and bolt with some plum-colored toning. Factory lettering is crisp and clear. Wood retains most of the original finish with scattered moderate impressions and handling marks; both sides of buttstock with a 1/8'' sliver of wood that was used to fill in a small gap at the metal.
