Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Saddlering Carbine, #400713, .30 Army (.30-40) cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish, walnut stock, forend and upper handguard; factory sling swivel to front barrel band, and factory swivel eyelet to buttstock. Mfg'd 1921. Condition is very good to near fine retaining approx. 75%-80% thinning blue. Rear carbine sight has been replaced with semi-buckhorn flip-up sight. Buttstock and forend show mild impressions and oil darkening near metal surfaces; upper handguard with fracture running the full length along the top radius. Good action, bright bore.
