Customized Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle, #131588, .270 cal., 23'' barrel, blue finish, machine-turned bolt, fleur-de-lis checkered walnut stock, rosewood forend cap, checkered steel buttplate and pistol grip cap, with modern suede leather sling. Topped with a Balvar 2.5-5 scope on adjustable mounts. Mfg'd 1950. Condition is fine as modified, retaining approx. 95% blue to barrel and frame. Triggerguard and floorplate have thinned to approx. 85% blue. Custom left-hand Monte Carlo stock shows light general scuffs and scratches.
