Stevens New Model Second Issue Single-Shot Tip-Up Pocket Rifle, with detachable shoulder stock, #21829, .32 Long CF cal., blued 15'' part round-part octagon barrel with hooded Beach-type front and adjustable folding leaf rear sights, and automatic cartridge extractor, marked only ''32/21829'' at left breech; nickel-plated steel receiver with knurled button-type barrel release screw, integral grip straps, loop triggerguard, and matching nickel-plated skeleton-type detachable shoulder stock; two-piece varnished walnut grips. Mfg'd 1875-1896. Condition is excellent, the barrel retaining approx. 95% dulling blue, the receiver 95% nickel with minor scattered puckering, the triggerguard, gripstraps and stock with smooth, bright nickel. Grips fit well with minor light handling marks and nice color. Action is smooth; bore is bright with defined rifling. Est.: $750-$1,250. (Antique)
