Half stocked percussion plains style rifle marked “D. Snyder and Son, Charlotte, N.C.” for North Carolina. Measures 52” overall with 36” medium weight octagon barrel in approximately .36 caliber percussion withrifled barrel. Lock works well. Meal surfaces were cleaned long ago and now aging back with slight rust and erosion. The stock is very good with many scratches and mars to the varnish. Lock marked “G. Golcher”.
