Desirable Colt New Police “Cop and Thug” spur trigger revolver, .38 caliber, 6” etched panel barrel, nickel finish, checkered hard rubber grips with embossed cop and thug on each side, S/N 17637; overall very goodcondition with majority of etched panel visible and majority of original nickel finish remaining with slight muzzle wear and loss of finish confined mostly to part of the cylinder; working action, very good markings and very good grips. Scarce in 6” barrel variation and noted by consignor to have been purchased from the collection of Jacque Hart in 1992. (Antique). Est.: $1,800-$3,600.
