U.S. Model 1840 heavy cavalry or “Wrist breaker” in very good plus condition with scabbard. Unmarked with no foreign stamps or proofs. Exceptional grips wrap. Blade shows bright polish and at least very good.Scabbard also very good with deep brown and only minor dings and small dents. Used early Civil War. Great patina on brass guard. Est.: $400-$800
