^Lot 1240 SW Model 18-3 (.22 Combat Masterpiece) Double Action Revolver

Smith & Wesson Model 18-3 (.22 Combat Masterpiece) Double Action Revolver, #1K78519, .22 LR cal., 4'' pinned barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grip with S&W medallions, blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, and wide color case hardened hammer and trigger. Externally this revolver is in fair condition; most of the original blue finish remains, but the metal does have scattered patches of surface rust, a few of which have turned to pitting. Grips are a little dark with most of the finish having worn or dulled; checkering is mostly sharp. Most of the bright case colors remains; hammer and trigger with some speckled oxidation. Action is crisp with a smooth hammer and trigger; bright bore rates excellent. A thorough cleaning would probably improve the overall condition and appearance. Est.: $200-$400. (Modern/PPT)
