French Model 1886 M93 Lebel Bolt Action Rifle, #43049, 8x50Rmm cal., 31.4'' barrel, bright/blued finish, hardwood stock, blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight. Marked on left side of receiver ''MANUFACTURE D'ARMES St Etienne'' MLE 1886 M93'', and on right side of barrel shank ''MA S 1888''. All numbers are mismatched. Condition overall is good with almost all of the blued finish either worn or cleaned bright, remaining only in protected areas. Forend fits loosely and has a longitudinal closed crack along much of its length, with a dowel repaired area below the rear sight showing light sanding. Buttstock is darker and has several deep dents and overall handling marks. Action is smooth, bright bore is very good. Est.: $400-$600. (Antique)
