Smith & Wesson Model 53-2 Double Action Revolver, #4K48708, .22 mag. jet cal., 8-3/8'' pinned barrel, blue finish, polished bright wide target trigger, polished hammer, factory checkered square butt Goncalo alves target grips with S&W medallions, red ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. All of the factory lettering has been highlighted in gold. Mfg'd 1973. Approx. 98%-99% original blue finish remains and revolver rates as excellent overall. Metal with some scattered micro-scratching and slight handling marks; cylinder with a faint thin index line. Factory lettering and gold highlights are clear. Grips appear to have had an added coat of semi-gloss finish applied and show intermittent normal small handling marks; checkering is excellent and sharp.
