Rare Colt Combat Cobra Lew Horton Special Double Action Revolver, #CC0880, .357 mag. cal., 2.5'' barrel, bright stainless finish, replacement exotic wood grips; right grip with an inlaid NASA Security Office badge. Revolver also features a red ramp front sight and white outline fully adjustable rear sight. Left side of barrel is marked ''COMBAT COBRA''. In original box with matching end label, two-piece styrofoam insert, and owner's manual. Presuming by the ''Security Office'' grips, this appears to have been a ''carry gun'' and shows normal signs of handling and use. Overall condition is fine. Metal surfaces with general light scratching; cylinder with a moderate index line. Factory lettering is crisp. Finger-grooved grips also show normal light handling marks. Action is smooth; bright bore rates as fine. Box shows moderate+ storage wear; end label is clear. Only 1,000 of these revolvers were mfg'd circa 1986-1987. Est.: $3,000-$4,500. (Modern/PPT)
