Springfield Armory M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle, #7108695, .30-06 cal., 24'' barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock, blade front sight with protecting ears and adjustable aperture rear sight. Marked on receiver tang ''U.S.RIFLE CAL..30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY''. Marked on barrel ''SPRINGFIELD GENESEO 30-06''. No markings on stock. Condition overall is excellent, with very light wear to the finish on the bolt and right side of receiver. Stock has a scratched area where the sling buckle has made contact, and the handguard has a light impression on the underside, otherwise wood is in new condition. Action is smooth, bore is excellent. A newly made example of the U.S. M1 Garand. Includes a reproduction M.1923 cartridge belt in excellent condition, and a U.S.G.I. green cotton sling in very good condition. Est.: $1,000-$1,200.
